Client: Harvest Against Hunger
Harvest Against Hunger connects food that would go to waste with families in need. As problems around hunger and food insecurity in Seattle are growing, the Harvest Against Hunger team knew they would have to increase fundraising in order to keep up with the demands for their services. They reached out to us to create a video to share their story and how theymake an impact in the communities they serve.
Challenge
Harvest Against Hunger builds connections. In the past it has been challenging for the organization to explain exactly what they do in a short period of time. With a large fundraising event coming up, they did not want any confusion. Our challenge was to create a video that was:
- Educational. Explained the work HAH does in a way that was both simple and accessible, yet embraced the complexity of the work.
- Emotional. Told the story so the audience would understand the importance of their work in the community.
Our goal was to create a video that would get the audience excited about contributing to the cause.

We blew past our goals at this years fundraiser. The video played just before the raise the paddle and had a big impact on our success. People were commenting on how much they liked it and appreciated the storytelling. Thanks for representing Harvest Against Hunger so well.
